    Even today, in spite of the seeming ubiquitous envy over Canada's "free" health care, when specialty care is needed for dire situations, the solutions lie in the US.

    Stories such as this are not uncommon. When a commodity of any sort is "free", shortages are to be expected. In this case, the commodity was neonatal facilities.
